Paringa Estate Chardonnay blends fruit from the winery’s low yielding Paringa Estate and Callanans Road Vineyards, located at Red Hill South on the Mornington Peninsula.

The grapes are whole bunch pressed and the unclarified juice is fermented in French oak barrels, one third new. Initially the wine is stirred monthly to build weight and complexity. It does not undergo malolactic fermentation.

Straw green, Paringa Estate Chardonnay marries fleshy stone fruit, citrus and nutty oak flavours. Racy acidity leads to a long finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
